Air Conditioning of the ROTC Building of Asheville High School. Installed packaged roof-top cooling
with a new boiler and reheat coils for multiple zones.
Air Conditioning Asheville High School Vocational Building. Replaced the existing heating-only unit
ventilators with four-pipe unit ventilators. New piping was routed utilizing an existing pipe tunnel.
The central plants for both heating and cooling are shared with the Main Building.
Air Conditioning the Main Gym, Asheville High School. The Main Gym heating and cooling design
incorporates a combination of packaged cooling and a shared chiller to cool the Gym and Arts
Buildings. By utilizing the electrical capacity and location of an existing aging chiller for the Arts
Building, a new chiller with larger capacity will now cool both buildings. Under high loads in the
Gym or when the chiller is off, two packaged units will provide cooling.
